Job summary

Wellthy is seeking an energetic Member Activation Specialist-Inbound to resolve member questions via phone, chat, and email with warmth and accuracy. You will spot activation opportunities, guide members, and coordinate with Care Coordinators to expand engagement.

You’ll mentor junior staff, contribute to knowledge sharing, and help improve activation outcomes across the team while working a daytime remote role in the US.

Qualifications

• Work experience in customer service or administration; healthcare/benefits/care field preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience handling higher‑complexity member issues or supporting escalations is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor peers or contribute to team‑wide knowledge sharing is a strong plus.
• Comfort recognizing and acting on activation opportunities within support interactions, and coaching others to do the same.
• Availability during early EST hours or late PST hours is a plus, given our 8:00AM‑10:00PM ET coverage window. This role is likely to work a daytime shift.
• Proficiency in more than one language is a plus.
• Proficiency with macOS, GSuite, Slack, and 1Password, customer support and help desk ticketing systems (Zendesk, Intercom)

Responsibilities

• Resolve member questions and issues across phone, chat, and email with warmth and accuracy.
• Identify activation opportunities during support interactions and escalate as needed.
• Mentor Level I specialists and share knowledge to improve team performance.
• Support cross‑department collaboration for smooth issue resolution.
• Escalate incidents and manage resolution timelines.
• Contribute to process improvements and knowledge base updates.
