Job summary

AbsoluteCare Medical Center & Pharmacy is seeking a Part-Time Member Access Coordinator to handle inbound calls, greet members, and advocate for patients while coordinating scheduling, transportation, and pharmacy questions.

You will use the Practice Management System, maintain patient privacy, and work toward first-call resolution. This is a remote role with flexible hours and a strong emphasis on customer service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ healthcare experience with inbound call center emphasis.
• Strong listening and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized.
• Team and customer service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally.
• Follow scripts and workflows for multiple locations and call types.
• Provide courteous greetings and assist members and external sources.
• Identify needs, clarify information, research issues, and provide solutions.
• Maintain accurate demographic data in the practice management system.
• Schedule appointments per member preference and guidelines.
• Document, triage, and escalate calls per workflows.
• De-escalate situations and support member needs.
• Coordinate with clinical team to promote engagement and retention.
• Triage calls to appropriate department and ensure privacy.
