Job summary

AbsoluteCARE Medical Center & Pharmacy is seeking a Call Center Support Specialist for a remote role. You will handle inbound/outbound calls, schedule and manage appointments, and support administrative workflows across markets while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work with performance metrics in a fast-paced, virtual environment. Experience with EHR/EMR and Microsoft Office is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in healthcare-related role or community outreach.
• 1+ years in a call center or healthcare front office.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively.
• Comfortable working with performance metrics and outreach targets.
• Empathy and cultural competence in diverse populations.
• Proficient with basic computer systems and EHR/EMR usage.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs and standardized workflows to ensure consistent execution across markets.
• Answer incoming calls promptly and provide accurate information for a positive member experience.
• Conduct outbound calls for reminders, confirmations, rescheduling, outreach, and admin follow-up.
• Respond to routine inquiries with empathy and professionalism; route questions per workflows.
• Document information accurately in EHR/EMR and other systems during interactions.
• Follow scripts and call flows; ensure accurate messaging and consistent experience.
