Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking an Actuary, Pricing to develop and execute pricing strategies for Medicare Advantage products. You will establish pricing assumptions, prepare bids, support regulatory filings, and help implement rates, plans and benefit changes.

The role involves advising Product Development on cost impacts of new offerings while building tools for pricing standard and customized offerings, and collaborating across functions. Remote position with potential travel for training or meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• FSA or ASA with advanced degree or designation.
• MAAA certification.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience in modeling, pricing, rate filing, reporting, reserving or trending.

Responsibilities

• Develop pricing assumptions and bid submissions for Medicare Advantage products.
• Support regulatory rate filings and certifications.
• Assist in implementing rates, new plans and benefit changes.
• Advise Product Development on cost impact of new products and benefits.
• Develop and maintain pricing tools for standard and customized offerings.
• Monitor competitive landscape and collaborate with market partners.
