Job summary

Humana is seeking an Associate Director, Actuarial Pricing to set pricing assumptions, file bids, and gain regulatory approval for premium rates. You will develop pricing tools for standard and custom benefits and advise Product Development on cost impacts.

This role requires strong cross-functional collaboration and leadership across departments. The position leads 2-3 Medicare Advantage regions, reviews MA bids for accuracy and compliance, and supports forecasts with financial guidance to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 5+ years of experience in Medicare Advantage bid filing.
• FSA/ASA/MAAA credentials.
• Experience in more than three functions (e.g., modeling, pricing, rate filing, reporting & analysis, reserving or trending) and more than one product.
• Demonstrated ability to articulate ideas effectively in both written and oral forms.

Responsibilities

• Lead 2-3 Medicare Advantage regions.
• Review individual MA bids for accuracy and compliance.
• Support recurring forecasts and provide financial guidance to leadership.
• Participate in cross functional work groups.
• Manage 2-3 direct reports with total team size of 4-7 associates.
