Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking an Actuary, Pricing for Medicare Advantage, in a remote nationwide role. You will develop pricing assumptions, prepare bids, support rate filings, and advise on cost impact of new products and benefits while building pricing tools for standard and customized plans.

The role requires strong analytical judgment, cross-functional collaboration, and experience across pricing, modeling, and reporting. Telework is allowed with occasional travel for training or meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• FSA or ASA + advanced degree and/or other professional designations.
• MAAA certification required.
• Demonstrated ability to articulate ideas in written and oral forms.
• Experience in more than two functions (e.g., modeling, pricing, rate filing, reporting & analysis, reserving or trending).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute pricing strategies for Medicare Advantage products.
• Establish pricing assumptions and prepare bids and rate filings.
• Advise Product Development on cost impact of new products and benefits.
• Develop and maintain pricing tools for standard and customized offerings.
• Monitor regulatory requirements and provide actionable insights to executives.
