Job summary

Humana seeks an Associate Director, Actuarial Pricing to set pricing assumptions, file bids, and ensure regulatory compliance for Medicare Advantage programs. The role develops pricing tools, guides product development, and supports profitability strategies.

The role oversees MA regions, reviews bids for accuracy, supports forecasts, leads cross-functional groups, and manages a small team. Remote work with occasional travel is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of Medicare Advantage bid filing experience.
• FSA or ASA or MAAA designation.
• Experience in more than three functions (e.g., modeling, pricing, rate filing, reporting & analysis, reserving or trending) and more than one product.
• Demonstrated ability to articulate ideas effectively in written and oral form.

Responsibilities

• Lead 2-3 Medicare Advantage regions.
• Review individual MA bids for accuracy and compliance.
• Support recurring forecasts and provide financial guidance to leadership.
• Participate in cross-functional work groups.
• Manage 2-3 direct reports with total team size of 4-7 associates.
