Job summary

Humana is seeking an Associate Director, Actuarial Pricing to set pricing assumptions, file bids and obtain approvals for premium rates and rate certifications with regulators. You will lead MA regions, support forecasts and collaborate across functions while guiding a small team.

The role demands strong communication, experience across modeling and pricing activities, and the ability to influence strategy for profitability and regulatory compliance. Remote with occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; five+ years of Medicare Advantage bid filing experience.
• Experience in modeling, pricing, rate filing, reporting and analysis, or reserving; multiple products.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead 2–3 Medicare Advantage regions and ensure bid accuracy and compliance.
• Review MA bids for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Support recurring forecasts and provide financial guidance to leadership.
• Participate in cross-functional work groups and initiatives.
• Manage 2–3 direct reports within a team of 4–7 associates.
