Job summary

Snapscale is seeking a Medical Virtual Assistant with pharmacy experience to support a U.S.-based healthcare practice in a remote capacity. You will prepare patient charts, manage prescription refill requests, and track medical orders while ensuring accurate clinical documentation and HIPAA compliance.

The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to maintain efficient clinic workflows in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or pharmacy-related role.
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems and patient chart preparation.
• Experience coordinating prescription refills and communicating with providers/pharmacies.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update patient charts at least 72 hours before appointments.
• Review patients' prior visits, notes, labs, medications, and tasks for continuity of care.
• Manage prescription refill requests with providers, pharmacies, and patients per clinic protocol.
• Track medical orders including labs, imaging, referrals, and supplies; ensure timely follow-up.
