Snapscale is seeking a reliable Mandarin-speaking Healthcare Virtual Assistant to support a US-based multi-specialty medical practice offering Ophthalmology, Dermatology, and Orthopedics services. You will provide administrative, front-office, and patient coordination support across multiple clinic locations.

Requirements include fluency in Mandarin and English, strong attention to detail, HIPAA awareness, and experience with EMR/EHR systems (ModMed preferred).

Qualifications

• Fluent in Mandarin and English is required.
• Previous experience in healthcare virtual assistance or related healthcare roles.
• Familiarity with Ophthalmology, Dermatology, or Orthopedics is a plus.
• Experience using EMR/EHR systems; ModMed familiarity is an advantage.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound patient calls, inquiries, and appointment scheduling using ModMed.
• Coordinate appointment rescheduling, cancellations, and updates via phone, email, and text.
• Assist with patient intake and ensure accurate collection and entry of patient information.
• Maintain and update patient records in the EMR system.
• Manage incoming and outgoing e-faxes and track referrals.
• Assist with insurance verifications and front-office support across multiple clinics.
