Job summary

Legion Health is hiring a Medical Virtual Assistant to support patients during the earliest parts of their care journey. You will contact prospective and booked patients quickly, welcome them warmly, and route them correctly before their first visit.

The role spans phone calls, messages, scheduling, intake documentation, and insurance workflows. This non-clinical position requires calm, clear, empathetic communication in English with US-based patients.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in healthcare operations, patient support, or telehealth roles.
• Exceptional spoken and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Respond quickly to new leads and booked patients across channels.
• Provide warm welcomes and explain what to expect before first appointment.
• Explain requirements in simple language and ensure smooth onboarding.
• Support appointment booking, rescheduling, intake completion, and documentation.
• Maintain accurate patient interactions and escalate issues to the right teams.
