Job summary

Legion Health is seeking a Medical Virtual Assistant to support Patient Access and Intake Operations remotely. You will handle scheduling, onboarding, and patient coordination with a focus on clear, empathetic English communication.

Experience in pharmacy or behavioral health is a plus, and familiarity with HIPAA-like privacy practices is helpful. This non-clinical role operates during 1:00 PM–9:30 PM Central, with fully remote setup and a contract engagement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in healthcare operations, patient support, pharmacy support, or telehealth.
• Excellent English communication, spoken and written.
• Experience supporting U.S.-based patients and workflows is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer new patient leads and booked patients quickly via phone, messaging, and internal systems.
• Communicate clearly and warmly in English; welcome patients before first appointment.
• Explain next steps simply; help with scheduling, intake, paperwork follow-up, and onboarding.
• Document patient interactions accurately for clinical teams; follow scripts and SOPs.
• Maintain fast response times and escalate blockers to the appropriate team.
