Winning Assistants LLC. is seeking a Medical Virtual Assistant to handle lab results follow-up, patient coordination, and administrative work in a remote setting. The role emphasizes accuracy in communicating provider instructions to patients, scheduling follow-ups, and maintaining precise EHR documentation.

Prior primary care experience is highly valued. The position requires English proficiency, healthcare privacy awareness, and strong communication with patients, including the elderly.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant experience in a primary care setting is required.
• Experience communicating lab or imaging results to patients, without interpreting medical data.
• Strong patient communication by phone and professional, clear written interactions.
• Proficient in documenting patient interactions and follow-up steps in an EHR.
• AdvancedMD experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Review provider instructions for lab and imaging results.
• Call patients to communicate results and follow-up steps clearly.
• Assist patients with next administrative steps per provider direction.
• Schedule follow-up appointments as directed by the provider.
• Document patient interactions and scheduling updates in the EHR.
• Escalate questions needing provider review and coordinate with the team.
