Job summary

Intuitive is seeking a seasoned Field Service Engineer to install and support our digital medical products across Europe, with focus on Italy and Spain and remote operations. You will verify remote connections, install on-premise and cloud solutions, configure servers, and support da Vinci systems while maintaining service quality.

The role requires 4–7 years in medical field service or similar, strong IT skills, and ability to travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

Minimum 4–7 years of field service experience with medical systems preferred.
Proven troubleshooting of medical software systems.
Good written and verbal English; Italian or Spanish language skills beneficial.
Professional installation and wiring of PC hardware in multiple configurations.
Experience with Windows OS and server administration.

Responsibilities

Verification for remote connection and system installation.
Perform on-premise or cloud-based digital product installations and server, network and services configurations.
Performs physical system installations when needed (exceptional).
Supports digital features activation of da Vinci® systems.
Provides technical support to customers and other Intuitive employees.
Performs maintenance inspections and upgrades/updates as required to ensure systems meet performance specifications.
Troubleshoots and repairs Intuitive digital products and associated equipment failures.
Maintains accurate configurations of installed base.
Supports tradeshow activity.
Providing remote support to Intuitive Field Engineers.
Maintains up-to-date documentation including Field Activity Reports, RMA tickets and issue management.
