Job summary

Ascendis Pharma is seeking a Medical Science Liaison to be the external scientific expert within Medical Affairs. This remote role reports to the Director, Field Medical Team and focuses on educating healthcare providers and developing relationships with key opinion leaders across endocrinology, leveraging the TransCon portfolio with clinical credibility.

You will identify KOLs, build geographic engagement plans, support clinical trial activities, and provide scientific support at congresses.

Qualifications

• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Experience engaging key opinion leaders (KOLs).
• Proven ability to represent Medical Affairs in external settings.
• Ability to work remotely with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as field-based external medical representation of Medical Affairs.
• Identify key opinion leaders and organizations for disease states within geography.
• Develop and maintain a KOL engagement plan across geography.
• Provide medical support at congresses and internal/external meetings.
• Collaborate with MOSLs to support regional deliverables and trials.
