Job summary

Ascendis Pharma is seeking a Medical Science Liaison to act as the external medical expert for our endocrinology programs. The role is remote and reports to the Director, Field Medical Team, with a focus on engaging KOLs and educating healthcare providers about our TransCon platform.

The candidate should have MD/PhD/PharmD or equivalent and 5+ years of pharma MSL experience, with strong oral and written communication skills in virtual and live settings.

Qualifications

• MD/PhD/PharmD or equivalent.
• Minimum 5+ years of pharmaceutical MSL experience.
• Pediatric endocrinology or rare disease exposure preferred.
• Outgoing personality with passion for patient benefit.

Responsibilities

• Serve as field-based medical representation for Medical Affairs.
• Develop relationships with KOLs and scientific orgs in endocrinology.
• Provide medical/scientific presentations to internal and external audiences.
• Capture insights and communicate with internal teams.
• Collaborate with MOSLs and support regional deliverables.
• Support clinical trials and IITs, including site engagement.
• Document activities in CRM and ensure compliance.
