Job summary

Raintree Systems, Inc. is seeking a Payment Reconciliation Specialist for a fully remote role within designated U.S. states. You will ensure deposits are received and reconciled, post payments accurately, and perform follow-ups with payers, emphasizing timeliness and accuracy.

The position requires at least 3 years in medical insurance posting, familiarity with payer contracts, and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google apps. Remote-first culture with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of medical insurance posting experience.
• Knowledge of payer contract and government reimbursement rules.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google applications.
• Skilled in using computer applications for payment posting with an understanding of A/R follow up.

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain logs and spreadsheets used for reconciliation.
• Investigate and reconcile deposits and supporting documentation.
• Identify and resolve posting errors and follow ups.
• Participate in month end closing.
• Retrieve and post remittances from payor websites.
• Research unidentified payments and determine resolution.
• Identify patterns indicating issues and notify leads.
• Assist clients by answering inquiries.
• Reconcile daily cash deposits to billing system and bank.
• Handle special projects as assigned.
