Job summary

Raintree Systems, Inc. is seeking a Payment Reconciliation Specialist to ensure deposits are received, balances reconciled, and payments posted accurately in a fully remote role designated for US states.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of medical insurance posting experience, familiarity with payer contracts, and proficiency in Excel and Google apps. Familiarity with Raintree Systems is a plus, and a strong eye for detail and HIPAA compliance is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of medical insurance posting experience.
• Knowledge of payer contract & government reimbursement rules.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google applications.
• Experience with medical billing software; Raintree Systems is a plus.
• Understanding of accounting basics and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain logs for reconciliation and posting.
• Investigate and resolve outstanding deposits with payers.
• Reconcile deposits and posting accuracy daily.
• Assist clients with inquiries and information.
• Participate in month-end closing.
• Retrieve remittances from payor sites when needed.
