American Red Cross is seeking a Medical Director for Therapeutic and Cellular Solutions (TCS) to lead clinical oversight, donor eligibility, and regulatory excellence. This 50% TCS and 50% Regional Medical Director role supports expansion of cellular therapies and collaboration with biotech partners.

You will work remotely with teams across the US, guiding policy development, program growth, and educational outreach while ensuring compliance with FACT, CLIA, and FDA standards.

Qualificações

• MD/DO with Board Certification in Transfusion Medicine or Hematology/Oncology.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Cell Therapy and Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation (negotiable).
• Knowledge of FACT accreditation processes and AABB standards for cellular therapy.

Responsabilidades

• Provide medical oversight for cellular therapies and donor/materials program development.
• Serve as medical liaison for biotech partners and clinical trial alignment.
• Oversee regulatory compliance with FACT, CLIA and FDA standards across programs.
• Deliver medical leadership for program growth and cross-functional collaboration.
