Job summary

Dornier MedTech America is seeking an Installations Specialist to install capital equipment at hospitals, surgery centers, and clinics across the United States. You will join an installation crew and, with experience, lead installations, ensuring mechanical, electrical, and functional quality from uncrating to customer handoff.

This entry‑level role sits within our Service team and offers a path for technical career growth.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electronics, biomedical equipment technology, or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively.
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Willingness to obtain hospital vendor credentials.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install Dornier capital equipment at hospitals and clinics nationwide.
• Assemble, connect, configure, and verify systems meet acceptance criteria.
• Unpack, inspect, and inventory equipment on arrival.
• Work from site plans and checklists; report deviations.
• Collaborate with team and, with experience, lead installations.
• Coordinate with customers and Installation Manager to keep schedule.
• Document installation reports and maintain tools.
• Follow safety requirements and quality system procedures.
