Job summary

Dornier MedTech America is seeking an Installations Specialist to install and commission capital equipment at hospitals and clinics across the United States. This role begins as part of a crew and may progress to lead installations, delivering high-quality mechanical and electrical work and clear on-site documentation.

Travel will be extensive (75%+), with work conducted in clinical environments. The position offers a clear path in a growing medical device company with strong safety and quality

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• Ability to travel extensively and obtain hospital credentials.
• Proven mechanical and electrical aptitude with technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills on-site and ability to follow instructions.
• Excellent on-site communication and documentation habits.

Responsibilities

• Install Dornier MedTech capital equipment at hospitals and clinics nationwide.
• Assemble hardware, connect electrical systems, and verify functionality.
• Document installation steps, checks, and acceptance criteria.
• Interpret site plans and report deviations from plans.
• Lead installations as experience grows and coordinate with stakeholders.
