Cedars-Sinai in Colorado Springs, CO seeks a skilled coding educator to lead audits, develop training programs, and drive improvement in documentation and coding practices across departments.

You will deliver targeted education to physicians and coding staff, analyze data to identify gaps, and collaborate with coding leadership to ensure compliance and high-quality patient records. A strong background in RHIA/CPC/RHIT/CCS and extensive hospital coding experience are essential.

Qualificações

• RHIA, CPC, RHIT or CCS certification required.
• 5+ years of coding experience in a hospital/facility setting.
• 2+ years in a training/education role preferred.
• Experience working with physicians on medical documentation and coding practices preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Conducts medical record audits to ensure alignment with coding requirements, organizational policies, and industry standards.
• Delivers education through one-on-one support, provider tip sheets, virtual presentations, and other training resources; acts as subject matter expert in surgical and diagnosis coding and documentation requirements.
• Analyzes data, communicates findings, and drives documentation and coding improvement initiatives.
• Develops and maintains educational materials and training programs with clinical practice managers and coding leadership to support provider performance and compliance.
