Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates degree required; health-related Bachelor’s preferred.
• RHIA/RHIT/CPC/CCS credentials required.
• 5+ years of hospital coding experience.
• 2+ years in training role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides education, consultation, auditing, and feedback on medical documentation and coding practices.
• Conducts medical record audits to ensure alignment with coding requirements and policies.
• Delivers education through one-on-one support, provider tip sheets, and virtual presentations.
• Analyzes data, communicates findings, and drives coding improvement initiatives.
• Develops materials and training programs with coding leadership collaboration.
