This fully remote position requires 1–3+ years of coding experience, CPC or CCS credentials, and proficiency with EHR systems (Epic). A strong knowledge of coding guidelines and medical documentation is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification CPC or CCS/CCS-P required.
• 1–3+ years professional physician-based coding experience.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS Level II.
• E/M coding and/or surgical/procedural coding experience; Epic preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter coded information into 3M 360 Finder and review APCs.
• Follow NCCI edits and medical necessity requirements.
• Resolve accounts on the claims edit database.
• Assign codes for injections and infusions in observation patients.
• Maintain 95% accuracy and meet productivity standards.
• Ensure documentation supports coding and rebill when needed.
