Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a Remote Medical Coding Educator for Physician Practice to support our coding teams and physicians with education, training materials, and ongoing regulatory updates across the network. The role offers flexible hours in a fully remote framework with equipment provided.

Candidates should hold RHIA/RHIT/CCS/AAPC credentials (CCS-P/CPC acceptable) and have 3+ years in E/M and ambulatory coding; strong presentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• CCS, RHIA, RHIT or CCS-P/CPC credentials preferred.
• 3+ years in E/M and ambulatory coding.
• Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and medical records.

Responsibilities

• Develops education/training materials for staff and physicians.
• Conducts training and ongoing education on coding practices.
• Ensures documentation supports proper reimbursement and compliance.
