Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and resolves coding edits in Epic Charge Review, Claim Edit, and Follow-up queues.
• Assigns ICD, CPT, and HCPCS coding classifications based on clinical documentation/physician orders.
• Escalates coding/denial trends and provider education opportunities.
• Navigates Epic EMR and related reports/work queues.
• Communicates with providers via Epic in-basket and email per guidelines.
• Adheres to departmental protocols and uses MS Office, Kronos, ServiceHub, etc.
• Maintains productivity standards and participates in continuing education.
