Job summary

Proliance Surgeons is seeking a Remote Revenue Cycle Specialist Assistant to support billing, claims and AR processes. The role works Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm PST, from home and requires residency in WA, FL, NC, AZ, ID, OH, OR, TN, TX or RI.

Responsibilities include verifying claims, processing primary/secondary/tertiary claims, posting payments, and resolving credits. Prior orthopedic coding experience and NextGen/Amkai familiarity are advantageous.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years medical billing experience required.
• CPC or other equivalent certification required.
• Orthopedic coding experience a plus; familiarity with billing systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify information for claims prior to billing.
• Review surgical coding for accuracy before billing.
• Process primary, secondary and tertiary claims and address edits/rejections.
• Post patient payments and insurance/third‑party payments.
• Handle credit resolutions for insurance and self‑pay credits.
• Manage Insurance AR and Patient AR; process bad debt.
