Job summary

You'll work in a remote capacity from the Houston area, coordinate with billing and collections teams, and help patients set up payments and resolve discrepancies with care and professionalism.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year in healthcare customer service, billing, or claims.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls regarding patient balances, claims, and billing inquiries.
• Provide clear explanations of charges, payment options, and account statuses.
• Assist patients with setting up payment plans and making payments.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies, denials, and adjustments.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient information.
• Document all interactions accurately in the system.
• Collaborate with billing, collections, and revenue cycle teams to improve engagement.
