Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a Billing Representative to support patient accounts, ensure timely remittance, and coordinate with payers to keep cash flowing smoothly. This remote US role emphasizes clear communication and precise data entry in the ERP system.

You will read and interpret medical billing information, resolve patient billing inquiries, prepare and submit clean claims, and maintain documentation using Word and Outlook.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and phone etiquette for customer interactions.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow instructions accurately.
• Familiar with medical terminology and insurance HCPC/ICD-9 codes.
• Proficient in MS Office and Outlook; ERP system experience.

Responsibilities

• Service customer needs by accurately billing, assuring timely remittance.
• Follow up with payers to facilitate uninterrupted cash flow.
• Answer questions from customers, staff, and insurers.
• Identify and resolve patient billing complaints.
• Edit and resubmit claims for payment; prepare clean claims.
• Document activities in ERP system efficiently and accurately.
• Provide feedback to Group Team Lead regarding account issues.
• Conform to defined guidelines and contribute to objectives.
