The role involves managing high-volume calls, coordinating patient requests, processing medical records, and collaborating with the clinical team to maintain HIPAA-compliant workflows.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year as a Virtual Medical Assistant supporting U.S.-based practices.
• Experience handling patient communications and inbound calls.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and patient confidentiality is required.
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a high-volume remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Answer high-volume inbound patient calls, address inquiries, confirm appointments, and route requests to staff.
• Triage messages in AthenaHealth EMR and ensure accurate documentation.
• Coordinate with bilingual team to assist Spanish-speaking patients as needed.
