Job summary

Nimbus Health is seeking a Virtual Medical Assistant to support clinical workflows from a remote setting. You will prepare new patient charts, transcribe referrals into the EHR, and verify that all orders and documents are accurate and complete for provider review.

Ideal candidates have prior medical assistant experience, are fluent in English, and comfortable using the Athena EHR. This is a full- or part-time remote position with HIPAA compliance expected.

Qualifications

• Experience as a medical assistant, preferably remote.
• Fluent in English.
• Proficient with Athena EHR system.

Responsibilities

• Prepare new patient charts with complete and accurate information.
• Review and transcribe referrals into the EHR.
• Ensure referrals are fully filled and ready for provider review.
• Process daily medical orders with accuracy.
• Coordinate with clinical staff to obtain missing information.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and company policies.
• Assist with additional administrative and clinical tasks as needed.
