Job summary

Cambia Health in Fargo, ND, is seeking a Strategic Account Manager-Medicaid to lead state-relations, governance, and stakeholder engagement for North Dakota Medicaid. You will bridge Cambia and state agencies, ensuring regulatory confidence and aligned internal execution.

You will build trusted partnerships with government partners, manage escalations, and coordinate multi-team efforts to deliver strategic programs and new product implementations across the Medicaid line of business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or Marketing with 10 years of health plan and/or account management experience.
• Experience servicing large group accounts or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Medicaid managed care programs and working with state agencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated leadership for state relations, governance, and stakeholder engagement for North Dakota Medicaid.
• Serve as primary contact for external stakeholder relationships and coordinate with internal operations.
• Assess client and state agency needs and recommend strategies to achieve objectives.
• Drive cross-functional coordination to align external commitments with internal delivery.
• Proactively manage escalations and risks with contingency planning.
• Monitor regulatory and market conditions and adjust account strategy accordingly.
• Lead introduction and implementation of new products and program enhancements.
