Job summary

Cambia Health seeks a Strategic Account Manager-Medicaid to lead relationships with North Dakota state agencies, govern governance, and engage stakeholders, bridging Cambia with ND Medicaid to ensure program success.

You will build trusted partnerships, align internal teams, and manage escalations while driving strategic initiatives per a multiyear plan. A bachelor's degree and 10+ years in health plan/account management with Medicaid knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or Marketing with 10 years of health plan or account management experience.
• Experience servicing large group accounts or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Medicaid managed care programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated leadership for state relations, stakeholder engagement, and governance responsibilities for North Dakota Medicaid.
• Serve as primary external contact for state agencies, aligning internal teams to commitments and delivery.
• Ensure understanding of client and state needs; recommend strategies to achieve business objectives.
• Drive cross-functional coordination to align external obligations with internal execution.
• Manage escalations and contingencies to protect relationships and performance.
• Monitor regulatory, market, and competitive conditions to adjust account strategy as needed.
• Lead introduction and implementation of new products and program enhancements per multiyear plan.
