Job summary

Nava Public Benefit Corp. is seeking a Policy Strategist to help translate policy into system behavior, design compliant workflows, and support Medicaid-related policy implementation across an integrated eligibility platform.

You will collaborate with product, design, and engineering to drive user-centered policy outcomes. Ideal candidates bring hands-on policy analysis experience, strong communication, and the ability to work independently in a remote-first environment, with a focus on

Qualifications

3+ years of policy analysis or a combination of relevant graduate education and experience.
Experience researching and interpreting policy using statutes, regulations, or authoritative agency guidance and applying that analysis to program decisions.
Self-directed and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in technical and policy contexts.

Responsibilities

Translate policy into system behavior, workflows, and user experiences.
Identify regulatory constraints, risks, and ambiguities and propose compliant solutions.
Support testing and validation of policy implementation (scenarios and edge cases).
Conduct landscape and cross-jurisdictional research to monitor evolving policies and translate into implementation implications.
Build relationships with external partners to share Nava’s policy expertise and lessons.
