Nava Public Benefit Corp. is seeking a Policy Strategist to help expand impact in government. You will translate Medicaid policy into practical, compliant decisions and support integrated eligibility platforms across intake, notices, decisions, and case management.

Collaborating with product, design, and engineering, you’ll translate policy research into actionable guidance, prioritize work with teams, and stay current on policy trends to improve government program operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of policy analysis experience or equivalent graduate-level education.
• Experience researching and interpreting policy from statutes, regulations, or agency guidance.
• Strong relationship-building with internal teams and external partners.
• Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in policy contexts.

Responsabilités

• Policy Translation & Implementation: translate policy into system behavior, workflows, and user experiences.
• Research, Strategy & Advocacy: monitor evolving policies and translate into implementation implications.
• Synthesize research into clear written and verbal communications for diverse audiences.
• Build relationships with external partners to share Nava’s policy expertise.
• Contribute to advocacy strategy development and execution.
