Job summary

Ascension Living is seeking a Revenue Cycle leader to manage the reimbursement team, oversee third-party calculation systems, audits, and financial reporting, and coordinate regulatory appeals.

This remote role supports staff development and cross-functional collaboration, working with internal management and external auditors to ensure accuracy in filings and finance operations within a mission-driven healthcare system.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include varied education paths with experience in the Revenue Cycle or related fields.
• 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
• Accountant background is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Staff Leadership: Manage reimbursement team operations, hiring, evaluations, and ongoing staff development.
• Systems & Audits: Oversee third-party calculation systems, annual audits, and required financial reporting.
• Compliance & Appeals: Ensure strict accuracy on all third-party filings and coordinate regulatory appeals.
• Expert Liaison: Act as the main resource for internal management, external auditors, and consultants.

Education

High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
