Job summary

Ascension is seeking a remote, full-time Reimbursement leader to develop and maintain third‑party reimbursement systems, guiding monthly settlements and annual filings. You will collaborate with regional teams and lead staff to ensure accurate net revenue management and compliance.

This role supports audits, drives cross-functional initiatives, and offers bonus eligibility with strong professional development and tuition reimbursement opportunities within a mission-driven health system.

Qualifications

• High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reimbursement Systems & Settlement Management: Develop, implement, and maintain systems for third‑party reimbursement calculations, evaluating monthly settlements alongside annual filings.
• Cost Reporting & Audit Support: Prepare annual Medicare and Medicaid hospital cost reports and provide direct support throughout regulatory audits.
• Regional & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner collaboratively across regional departments and ministries to execute and align net revenue management activities.
• Team Leadership & Talent Development: Lead staff lifecycle management, including hiring, training, directing, developing, and evaluating team performance.
