AfterQuery Experts is seeking a remote, project-based Mechanical Engineer to create, review, and iterate on CAD models and drawings for components and assemblies. You will develop detailed documentation and support product development workflows in an asynchronous, part-time engagement.

The role emphasizes hands-on CAD proficiency across major platforms, with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and experience in mechanical design and engineering analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related engineering field.
• Professional experience in mechanical engineering, product design, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in major CAD platforms and ability to produce detailed mechanical designs and drawings to industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Create, review, and iterate on mechanical designs and CAD models for components, assemblies, and systems.
• Develop detailed engineering drawings and technical documentation to manufacturing standards.
• Perform engineering analysis and support product development workflows.
• Document design decisions, assumptions, and methodologies clearly and reproducibly.
