Job summary

AfterQuery Experts is seeking a remote, project-based mechanical engineer to contribute to CAD-driven design, analysis, and documentation. You will work on tasks spanning mechanical design, engineering analysis, technical documentation, and product development support.

This asynchronous role expects a commitment of 10–20 hours per week for the projects you accept. Flexible time commitment and exceptional pay are offered, with pay up to $100 per hour.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in at least one major CAD platform.
• Demonstrated ability to produce detailed mechanical designs and drawings to industry standards.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Create, review, and iterate on mechanical designs and CAD models for components, assemblies, and systems.
• Develop detailed engineering drawings and documentation to manufacturing standards.
• Perform engineering analysis and support product development workflows.
• Document design decisions, assumptions, and methodologies clearly.
