Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Remote Mechanical Engineer to join their innovative engineering team, working entirely from home. You will develop and refine mechanical systems for advanced products, leveraging design, analysis, and testing in a distributed setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in mechanical design and analysis.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAE software (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, ANSYS).
• Ability to work independently and manage remote projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication for remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize mechanical components and systems using advanced CAD software.
• Perform engineering analysis, including FEA and CFD simulations, to validate designs and predict performance.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners through virtual communication tools.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Participate in virtual design reviews and contribute to product improvement initiatives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues identified during virtual testing or validation phases.
