You will create advanced 3D models and 2D drawings, perform tolerance analyses, and collaborate with global teams. Strong communication and self-management are essential for success in a remote environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in detailed mechanical design.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Fusion 360).
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes (machining, injection molding, sheet metal).
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Create highly detailed 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings for complex components and assemblies.
• Apply design principles and tolerance analysis to ensure manufacturability and performance.
• Conduct design reviews and validation checks with remote peers.
• Optimize designs for cost, weight, and functionality.
• Develop and maintain design documentation including CAD files, BOMs, and reports.
• Support manufacturing teams with remote clarifications and troubleshooting.
