Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a skilled Remote Civil Design Engineer to join our distributed team. You will design and develop infrastructure projects, focusing on precision and sustainability, with collaboration across locations via remote tools.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, at least 6 years of experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and hydraulic/hydrologic modeling. Independent work and strong remote communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Minimum 6 years of civil design engineering experience.
Proficient in civil design software and modeling.

Responsibilities

Perform detailed design calculations and create engineering drawings for infrastructure projects using industry-standard software.
Develop plans and specifications for water, wastewater, stormwater, and transportation systems.
Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments using available data and remote collaboration tools.
Ensure all designs comply with relevant engineering standards, codes, and environmental regulations.
Collaborate effectively with project managers, clients, and other engineers through virtual communication channels.
Review shop drawings and respond to construction-related queries in a timely manner.
