Job summary

Jacobs, a global engineering leader, is seeking a Mid-Level Mechanical Designer (Remote within the US) to advance HVAC and plumbing designs for large-scale facilities. You’ll perform mechanical design assignments with guidance, gather conditions on site when needed, and coordinate with design and project teams.

Ideal candidates have an associates degree, 5+ years of experience, and proficiency in Revit and codes.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in a related technical discipline is highly preferred.
• At least 5 years of practical mechanical design experience, including HVAC load and plumbing, and ductwork designs.
• Proficient working knowledge of Revit software.
• General working knowledge of mechanical and plumbing codes.
• Understanding of clash detection and coordination of building systems.
