Job summary

The Quality Group (TQG) is hiring an ambitious Master Data Management Lead to own global MDM strategy, governance, and operating models. You will lead the MDM team, coordinate data stewards, and drive cross-domain data processes across Product, Customer, Supplier, and Finance.

Remote work from Germany is supported with occasional visits to Hamburg; SAP S/4HANA familiarity and strong communication skills are essential for strategic alignment with business units and leadership teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in MDM, data governance, or data-driven transformations.
• Experience leading cross-departmental projects and building governance structures in medium-sized companies.
• Deep understanding of end-to-end master data processes (Product, Customer, Supplier, Finance).
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA within master data context and related ERP/PLM tools.

Responsibilities

• Define global MDM strategy, roadmap, and data governance framework.
• Lead central MDM Center of Competence and establish standards.
• Manage functional and disciplinary leadership of the MDM team and Data Stewards.
• Design the Master Data Operating Model and cross-domain processes.
• Bridge between business units and governance committees.
• Define and monitor MDM KPIs with dashboards and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with data architecture to translate strategy into technical solutions.
