Job summary

CRH Americas Building Products is seeking an MDM Functional Lead to configure, test, deploy, and support SAP master data solutions in a remote role based in the United States. You will collaborate with the MDM Architect, business process owners, and SAP teams to translate governance standards into scalable SAP configurations and controls.

Responsibilities span master data design, workflow controls, data quality, and end-to-end testing, with travel up to 25% for workshops and go-live events.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SAP functional experience, including master data design and configuration.
• Experience supporting enterprise master data domains (Material, Business Partner, Customer, Supplier/Vendor, or Finance).
• Hands-on experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA master data functionality.
• Strong knowledge of data governance, data quality, and testing practices.
• Ability to translate business requirements into maintainable SAP configurations and processes.
• Excellent facilitation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own functional design and configuration for SAP master data capabilities across multiple domains.
• Translate architecture and governance requirements into scalable SAP configurations.
• Analyze requirements and propose SAP-standard, configuration-based solutions.
• Maintain workflows, validations, and data quality controls.
• Prepare functional specs, process flows, and traceability to requirements.
• Lead or support SIT, UAT, and deployment readiness activities.
• Coordinate design decisions with MDM, architecture, and implementation partners.
