Job summary

Remote is seeking a proactive marketplace operations professional to manage daily activity for a nationwide platform linking residents with event hosts and service providers. You will ensure timely responses, complete bookings, and resolve issues to deliver a seamless experience for customers and partners.

The role emphasizes ownership in a fast-moving startup, with remote-first collaboration across customer success, marketplace operations, recruiting, product, and leadership teams.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year in marketplace operations or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication across channels.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple requests.

Responsibilities

• Manage marketplace requests, ensuring provider responses within SLA.
• Follow up with providers to resolve delayed responses and issues.
• Coordinate bookings and ensure customers and providers have all details.
• Source backup providers and handle refunds/rescheduling as needed.
• Activate new customers and promote repeat bookings.
• Monitor provider coverage and overall marketplace quality.
