Blackthorn.io is seeking a highly technical Marketing Operations Engineer to own the marketing tech stack, optimize integrations, and deliver accurate performance reporting. You will work across marketing, sales, and RevOps to automate campaigns, improve lead routing, and build scalable processes.

The role emphasizes hands-on implementation, AI tooling, and data-driven optimization in a remote-first, US-friendly environment, with stock options and a flexible work week.

Qualifications

• Experience in B2B marketing operations and technical marketing environments.
• Significant experience with MCP, AI-tooling, Github operations, and self-reliance.
• Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce and marketing automation platforms.
• Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Qualified, Apollo, and similar tools.
• Understanding of APIs, system integrations, data flows, and automation workflows.
• Experience managing websites, landing pages, forms, and CMS platforms.
• Ability to build dashboards, analyze marketing performance, and manage campaign attribution.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical projects from start to finish.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across marketing, sales, and revenue operations.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage our marketing technology stack, including Salesforce, Marketing Cloud (Pardot), Qualified, Apollo, and related apps.
• Maintain and optimize integrations between marketing, sales, and revenue operations systems.
• Build and improve marketing automation workflows, lead routing, segmentation, and nurture campaigns.
• Manage website updates, landing pages, and forms using AI-powered and no-code tools.
• Build dashboards and reports to track campaign performance, lead generation, funnel metrics, and marketing ROI.
• Maintain data accuracy, consistency, and quality across marketing platforms.
• Identify and resolve technical issues across marketing systems.
• Partner with marketing, sales, and revops teams to improve lead management and conversion rates.
