Job summary

Team Velocity is seeking a Marketing Data Analyst II to join our Web Analytics Team. You will bridge tactical execution and strategic insight by analyzing performance, implementing tracking strategies, and identifying trends that drive decisions.

In this mid-level role, you will support our marketing web and product teams, report to the Director of Analytics, and mentor a junior analyst. This remote, full-time position is open to candidates in the US.

Qualifications

Degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, business, or a related field.
3 years of experience in web marketing or product analytics.
Proficiency in tools like Google Analytics Looker Studio Tableau or Power BI.

Responsibilities

Configure and maintain Google Analytics and other web analytics tools.
Build and iterate dashboards to help stakeholders monitor KPIs.
Analyze user behavior and marketing channel performance to generate actionable insights.
Assist in troubleshooting tracking and data collection issues.
Conduct ad hoc analyses and deep dives to support product and marketing decisions.
Lead AB test planning, execution and post-test analysis.
Monitor performance metrics and set up alerts for anomalies.
Partner with cross-functional teams to understand goals and translate them into measurement plans.
Mentor junior analysts on tools, best practices and analytical approaches.
