Job summary

Team Velocity, a full-service marketing agency serving the automotive industry, seeks a Marketing Data Analyst II to bridge tactical execution and strategic insight. Remote role, reporting to the Director of Analytics, supporting marketing web and product teams with performance analysis and tracking strategies.

You will build dashboards, analyze channels, lead AB test planning, mentor junior analysts, and translate data into actionable decisions for cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Math/Stats/Business or related field.
• 3 years of experience in web marketing or product analytics.
• Proficiency in Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Tableau or Power BI.
• Experience with Google Tag Manager or similar tag managers.
• SQL and Excel/Google Sheets skills required.
• Familiar with AB testing methodologies and tools.
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Bonus: HTML/CSS/JavaScript/Python or Google Apps Script.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain Google Analytics and other web analytics tools.
• Build and iterate dashboards to monitor KPIs.
• Analyze user behavior and marketing channel performance for insights.
• Assist in troubleshooting tracking and data collection issues.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses and deep dives to support decisions.
• Lead AB test planning, execution and post test analysis.
• Monitor performance metrics and set up alerts for anomalies.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate goals into measurement plans.
• Mentor junior analysts on tools and analytical approaches.
