Team Velocity Marketing is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to develop and deploy machine learning, predictive analytics, and AI solutions that improve customer engagement and marketing performance.

This hands-on role covers data exploration to production deployment, with collaboration across Product, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Analytics, and leadership to deliver measurable business impact. Remote nationwide, ET business hours preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on data science and ML experience (production-ready).
• Proficiency in Python and SQL with strong communication and problem-solving.
• Experience delivering measurable business impact through analytics.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy production ML models.
• Develop predictive models for churn, lead scoring, LTV.
• Perform statistical analyses, A/B tests, and causal inference.
• Build feature engineering, model training, and inference pipelines.
• Deploy and monitor ML models, including drift detection and retraining.
• Apply Generative AI, LLMs, and vector databases to business use cases.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Analytics, and leadership to translate problems into scalable solutions.
• Mentor junior data scientists and establish best practices.
